There are a few reasonable clusters of grapes this year. Honestly hard to know given how dense the foliage is. I think some of the birds have realized they are there.

The purple prairie clover are exploding

Each year it seems like a different wildflower is booming. This is the year for Lady Slippers.

I’ve seen this previously with berries – never in flower. It is apparently one of 3 native Manitoba honeysuckle varieties.

That’s 1000 days of hitting my 6000 steps per day goal. 🚶

The blueberry bushes are blooming – hopefully we get a berry or two

Several purple and yellow violets in the forest this year – I’m not sure I’ve seen these previously.
