This guy looked a little tired and cold. I’m not actually sure what it is.

Is that still what you call it when it is the ground that has risen to meet the suspended object?

Quite honestly, I think a lot of that is because I was plenty warm and maybe steaming a little. Nothing like stomping through the snowdrifts to keep you warm.

Some parts of the trail continue to get enough traffic that a well-defined path is established.

I thought the bunnies were bad, but now the hares are showing up again. They’ve been pretty rare over the past 3-4 years.

The wind has been whipping up some interesting snow formations this year.

Great fun to see these guys – the Pileated Woodpecker – they are big and they really go to town on a piece of wood.

The bunnies are systematically destroying the landscaping.
