With subzero daily highs becoming increasingly common it was time to dig up the bulk of the carrots. Not a bad harvest this year.

I got a rowing machine to provide some variety in the exercise regime.

It is almost like these geese have no idea about the rules of soccer.

These leaves were pretty bright to begin with, but happened to be catching the light just right to really show off.

More appreciation for the aspen trees – I love the way that their white trunks stand out against the colours of the leaves.

The aspen are starting to add to the fall colours. I love how the forest is closing in on the path.

There are a few spots around the lakes where the purple prairie clover has become really well established.
