I met my goal of 1.5 million meters with one rowing day remaining in the rowing season. I’m pretty excited about that 😀.
I think this is the earliest that we’ve had crocuses flowering. Not sure how much is this year’s weather vs how much better crocuses are at picking where they will be successful.
We see Great Horned Owls fairly frequently, but this appears to be a Long-eared Owl
Some wasps are going to be pretty sad when they find out that their summer home was destroyed by Winter.
March is looking more like winter than January did. The clear blue sky and sunshine make it pretty pleasant though.
The freezing-rain-turned-to-snow resulted in some interesting footprints once the wind blew away much of the snow.
Native plants are emerging from the snowbank as green as they were in August.
Some days you just need to sit in a snowbank and watch the world go by.
The distance is adding up – happy to have gotten into a sustainable rhythm.
